Resume...last 10 years.

September 1997.

Just ten years ago I began to study physics... yes!, what a long time. Since that, my live has changes a lot.

All the dreams of a teenager, the expectation of the new school, the curiosity and the thirst of knowledge. As every body knows, ``la vida te da sorpresas'', and mine is not the exception of the rule.

Best moments.

• My first semester... I was the best student in the faculty.
• First class on physics... even if it does not remain the whole course.
• Marco Rodriguez's lectures... and friendship.
• To study music.
• Return to physics school after a quit of about one year.
• Working together Alejandra and Pantoja.
• THE BEST OF ALL: my friend... all of them (do not expect I write the name of all... I really want to get my PhD soon!!!)
• To study in Trieste at ICTP.
• To learn English and Italian.
• Coming to Chile.
• The birth of Alejandro.
• Last one: Qualifying as PhD.

Worst moments.

• To say bye of the people I have known... even those I just met one week.
• To be treated like an asshole... by to many people even in Italy as well as in Chile.
• To loss a PhD possibility and even worst, the scholarship... and having to return some money back to the sponsors.
• et cetera...

``Gloria patri et filii et spitui sancti"...

Today is a new day, after 10 years I finally feel I'm getting somewhere.

Opportunities: Well, there are still some cloud in front of the way, but as it seems the next crossroad will guide me into wonders of cosmos or the ultimate advances of particle physics.

The first one is an opportunity to work with Jorge Zanelli (the person I owe my actual success) studying different stages of Chern-Simon theories and other possible gravity theories available.

The second one is as great as the first... to work together with the Santa Maria's professors in collaboration with CERN, it represents a change to go Switzerland itself and perhaps working with people like J. Ellis or Alvarez-Gaume.

I just hope that whatever the result will be... it'll be the best choice.
